Payments

  • Prepayment by credit card and subsequent email confirmation by Duo Travel is accepted as confirmation of your booking.

  • All prices and transactions can be changed too the customers desired currency and if any refunds were to take place they will be refunded in the currency they have paid in. The name that will appear on your statement is Duo Travel.

    Privacy

  • All and any information provided to Duo Travel will be treated with strict confidentiality. No information will be passed on further than the original booking, except in case of emergency, for example, missing person details will be given to the appropriate authorities for search and rescue purposes.

    Age Restrictions

  • Customers must be over the age of 18 Years, anyone under that will be considered a minor and will not be able to to book onto any Duo Travel tours as we aim for couple or travelling partners.

    Mandatory Travel Insurance

  • YOU MUST HAVE TRAVEL INSURANCE WITH A MINIMUM MEDICAL GPB £100,000!! covering all dates of travel while on any Duo Travel tour. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You are strongly recommended to extend your coverage to include cancellation and all other expenses that may result in loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience while traveling. You must acknowledge that insurance cover is not included in the cost of any Duo Travel product and it is your responsibility to guarantee you have the correct travel insurance and is covered in the country you are travelling to. You are responsible to inform your insurer of the type of travel, destinations and activities included in your booking so that the insurer may provide suitable coverage. Duo Travel is not liable for any customer that provides or use invalid travel insurance.

    ACCEPTANCE OF RISK AND HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Duo Travels products and services may involve a significant amount of risk to your health and safety. By traveling with us you acknowledge that you are aware of any potential risks to health and safety. You hereby assume responsibility for all such risks and release Duo Travel from all claims and any losses, damages or injuries or death resulting from risks from travelling, visiting foreign destinations, and participating in adventurous activities such as those included in Duo Travels tour itineraries.

  • Quality of hygiene, accommodation and transport in certain countries where you will be travelling to, are often lower standards to what you will be use to you. You understand that Duo Travel will not take any responsible for providing information on weather conditions, particular safety concerns, physical challenges/actives or laws in any countries. You acknowledge you have considered the potential risks, dangers, daring activities and your own personal ability. You plainly assume the risks related with travel.

  • You must strictly follow all laws and regulations of all countries you will be travelling to. If you were to fail to act in accordance with the above or carry out any illegal act while travelling with Duo Travel on Tour. Duo Travel may end your tour arrangements on any product instantly at your cost and without any liability on Duo Travel. No refund given for the services or product that Duo Travel has marketed as included.

  • You must agree to calculate your own safety while your are on our tours including seatbelts, lifejackets and helmets. following all posted signs and written warnings regarding health and safety.

  • Any complaints will be reported to Duo Travel as soon as possible in order to provide a assistance with our local guides and accommodation. Local guides have no liability for complaints that are not addressed to our attention of the admin team of Duo Travel. Local guides cannot resolve complaints until proper notice is provided to the right person. Any complaint made after the tour will be addressed accordingly.

    TRAVELING DOCUMENTS

  • All the required documentation and identification required for entry for the country you are travelling to is your responsibility. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates and insurance policies. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour until your travelling has ended in that country, Duo Travel will not be responsible for any amount of costs with the result of missing or defective documentation. We can not provide advice on travel documents and to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, foods and personal belongs and you agree that the Duo Travel is not responsible for any errors.

  • Duo Travel reserves the absolute right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour.

  • Clients will be advised as soon as possible of any cancellation or part cancellation (and will be entitled to a full refund or refund of that part of the trip that has been unable to be completed. Refunds

  • Bookings cancelled more than 3 months will not incur a cancellation fee.

  • Bookings cancelled within 3 months of departure will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

  • Customers who do not turn up for a activity’s and transportation will not be entitled to any refund. You will receive help on what to do next and can book new activities or transport at a additional cost.

  • Refunds will only be issued through the original booking office.

Lost Property

  • No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to the client’s personal property whilst on any tour as this is the customers responsibility.

Photography & Marketing

During a tour ,local guides may take photos of you participating in the Tours activities or you may provide us with photos that you have taken. With your consent to us publishing such photos or videos, along with no details. This is strictly for marketing purposes for our marketing platforms.

Limitation of Liability

  • Duo Travel accepts no liability for any act or omission arising from a tour including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider (including any arising from a tour not taking place) and the passenger releases, waives and holds harmless to Duo Travel, its officers and/or its employees from all claims, losses, damages expenses which arise during or in conjunction with a tour provided by Duo Travel. This includes any claims for damage caused by the negligence of Duo Travel, its officers and/or its employees, and includes any claim for any costs including legal fees that may be incurred as a result of any such claims, losses, damages or expenses whether valid or not.

  • Duo Travel does not accept any liability for the acts, omissions, or default whether negligent or otherwise of those companies or other persons providing services in connection with a tour by Duo Travel.

  • Without limiting the above, Duo Travel shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as a result of any inaccuracy, misdescription or changes to any tour made by Duo travel or any other party.

Indemnity

  • The passenger indemnifies Duo Travel, its officers and/or its employees against all claims, losses, damages or expenses (including any costs including legal fees that may be incurred as a result of any claims, losses, damages or expenses whether valid or not) that he or she or their executors, administrators, next of kin, successors or assignees may have or assert for any claims, losses, damages or expenses whether valid or not.

Acts of God

  • Duo Travel has no liability for losses or additional expenses incurred by passengers due to weather, strikes, delays, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, changes in air, transport services, force majeure, Act of God, or other causes outside the control of Duo Travel.

Statutory Protections – United Kingdom Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the United Kingdom law with the following acts Fair Trading Act 1973 and Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and these do not affect the customer’s rights as expressed in the Acts.
